Prior to meeting with Michelle and discussing health, fitness, and lifestyle I was experiencing severe lack of energy both physically and mentally. In short I was shot!!! I had lived with this for over 10 years and every year when I met with my doctor he would ask me “How are you feeling?” I would always respond the same “I don’t have any energy”. He did what he could, he ran all of the blood tests, EKG, a stress test and echo and all came back within the norms. He did say I should lose some weight. I am 5′ 9″ and was 228 pounds at my heaviest weight. I lost 20 pounds by starving myself and did not feel any improvement. I knew that the only way to improve those areas in my life both spiritually and physically was to take control and I knew only I could make that happen. I would like to thank my wife for setting up the visit with Michelle, it was nothing short of inspired. From the moment Michelle started to inquire about my current health, eating habits, and exercise she started to teach. As she was teaching she related what she was teaching and personalized it to health issues I was having, my current diet and the impact it was having with my health, and helped me understand the truths (some of which I already knew) of a healthy diet and fitness. From the moment I committed to follow the program she lined out for me I have lost 25+ more pounds and weigh around 180 pounds. I can’t begin to tell you how much better I feel. I have more physical energy and my zeal for life. I can tell you it has improved my ability to perform at work, it has brightened my outlook on life as I now have the desire to look ahead and plan and set goals where before I just couldn’t bring myself to even think about those types of things. The most surprising change though has been the drastic change in my physical appearance (which wasn’t one of the things that were even on my radar that I wanted to improve), I have gone from wearing a 38 pant size to a 34, my shirt size was an XL and I now wear a Medium, but the most delightful part is all of the comments that I get from family and friends about how amazing I look. Comments like “I didn’t even recognize you at first…you look like a completely different person”.
